I love our weekly #BeautyTalk chat on Twitter every Tuesday night at 9:00 p.m. EST. I have met some incredible women through our weekly chats and decided that they were the key to letting you all know what beauty products women are currently raving about. Last year, I featured Gia’s Favorite Beauty Finds. This year, I decided to feature some of our Beauty Talk Community bloggers!
Hope you enjoy these fabulous tips. None of these women are being paid to promote these products. They just wanted to share their favorite’s with you!
Please take time to visit each of their blogs and leave them comments. They are an amazing group of women.
Beth from Chic Galleria: Mary Kay Lash Love Mascara
I truly LOVE this mascara. I always buy the non-waterproof version, but you can get it in waterproof also. I love this mascara and refuse to use anything else! It doesn’t flake…EVER! It doesn’t leave black circles under my eyes and it only comes off when I want it to come off. (Which is very easy with any gentle makeup remover. I use Neutrogena Naturals Fresh Cleansing and Makeup Remover.) I have tried so many mascaras both expensive and cheap. At $15, Mary Kay is worth every penny. It adds length and volume to my lashes and doesn’t weigh them down in a clumpy mess. For day, I swipe on one coat and I’m good to go. For evening, I apply about 3 coats and I ALWAYS get complimented on my eyes. It never fails!
Analesha from Lipstick and Bubbles: Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder.
This has been a staple in my handbag since I purchased it. It instantly matte’s your face and works flawlessly over a matte foundation. The transparent colour works the best because it doesn’t add any colour to your face so just simply puts your make up in place. I love applying this to my face with a kabuki brush, which only picks up what you need so you waste very little. I only have to reapply once after 5 hours of wearing this throughout the day and its quick and easy! I highly recommend you have this product ready for 2015.
Lauren from GYC – Girl You Crazy: Fabulous Foaming Face Wash by Bliss
Let me tell you… as someone in my 20’s with skin that at times wants to be dry, oily or somewhere in between (aka combination skin), this product is a MUST!! I don’t use it everyday because its an exfoliator as well as cleanser but when I do… mentally, my face feels like it just took a trip through a tropical island (passion flower, chamomile and rose hips), and physically, it feels super smooth and I look refreshed!! You will definitely win points with this 2-in-1 cleanser and exfoliator as a gift because who doesn’t want to look/feel refreshed and like they’ve been on vacation?
Aprill from Glitter. Gloss. Garbage: Milani Cosmetics Bella Eyes in Bella Champagne.
Every girl should have that one shadow in their stash that they can wear everyday with just about anything and this is it! It’s shimmery, well pigmented, glides on smooth and versatile.
El from The Beauty Isle: Lorac Pro Palette 2
Hands down my favorite beauty product in 2014 . I’ve used shadows from Urban Decay, Too Faced, Nars, and countless other brands. None of them come close to the amazing quality of the shadows in the Lorac Pro Palette 2. The shadows are buttery soft with only a small amount of fall out. The pigmentation is insane and they blend like dream. You can create countless looks with this palette because it includes neutral shades as well as some gorgeous jewel tones (which are my favorites). My favorite shades are Rose, Plum, and Navy.
Renee from Beauty School Scarlet: The Secret Concealer by Laura Mercier:
This concealer is high in pigment and helps to cover my dark circles from long sleepless nights. It does not settle into the fine lines around my eye area and it brightens to help diffuse the dark circles. It is long lasting, a little moisturizing but not oily looking. It is super easy to apply and a little goes a long way! It’s a natural look with a natural glow.
Kia from Stylebrat Dior: Bella Bamba Ultra Plush Lip Gloss
I must say I fell in love instantly with this product. It became my new favorite product of 2014. When you first open it, it smells like a peachy candy and it goes on sheer. What I like about it most is the fact that it does not feel sticky when I apply it to my lips like some lip glosses feel. Also, the color gives off a beautiful watermelon red color. My lips really look and feel amazing with this product. I would definitely recommend trying this product….you will thank me later.
