The Film’s tireless driving force is emerging producer Dana White, who also wrote the script for The Red Suitcase. After having begun her career as an actor on the NY stage as well as acting in various independent films, Dana set out with the goal of producing her own films.
NY Theatre credits include: Love Letters To Adolf Hitler at the Jewish Theatre of New York, Waiting In The Wings at the Roundabout Theatre with Celeste Holm, Pledge Of Allegiance at The Judith Anderson Theatre, The Last Trial Of Clarence Darrow at The Actors Studio, Infinite Cages at The New York Fringe Festival, The Night They Burned Washington at Theatre Row Theatre, Tom Sawyer at The Promenade Theatre, Lovers and Madmen at The Ensemble Studio Theatre, Too Good To Be True at The Oasis Theatre, Lethal Dose at The American Theatre of Actors, Engaged at 1010 players, The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe at Lincoln Center Institute, among others.
Her roles in films include: Sarah in the critically acclaimed short film, The Surface by director Sean Carter, which won her a Best Actress Award at The NYU Film Awards, the film Replaced in which she starred and which went on to receive great praise at both the prestigious Hollywood Film Festival as well as The Malibu Film Festival. Dana recently won the Best Actress Award at Italy’s Dieciminuti Film Festival for the film Moonscapes with director Marco Ferrari.
In addition to producing and editing for various network television shows, Dana has written, produced and acted in several of her own projects including her films Old Friends (Official Selection,The Buffalo/Niagara Film Festival, The Griffon Int’l Film Festival) and The Kiss.
From Dana’s experience in many facets of the industry, she is carefully assembling a vibrant, creative team.
Christopher Knoblock has had a multifaceted twenty year career in theater, film and television as both a Director of Photography and as an actor. He has worked with such names as Paul Sorvino, Melissa Leo and Viveca Lindfors among others and is quickly emerging as a talented film director to watch. The producers of The Red Suitcase have been able to secure Chris’ unique vision to helm the picture from its inception, through development and into production. Chris directed the promo presentation for The Red Suitcase, bringing a formidable team of industry veterans to the project. Chris recently directed the film, Old Friends, which featured at The Buffalo/Niagara Film Festival as well as The Griffon Int’l Film Festival. As Director of Photography, some of his recent credits include The Addiction of Ethan Lonemeyer, The Treasure’s of Long Gone John, which featured at SXSW, and the Santa Barbara Int’l Film Festival; and numerous television projects airing on NBC, Discovery, TLC and The History Channel.
“Chris is a rock solid up and coming director: he has the confidence, the ability, and the passion it takes to make not just a good film, but a great one.”
